GOLF COURSE WEEKLY UPDATE:

For the week of August 30th:

Dear Members,

On Tuesday, August 31st, the Ladies have a morning shotgun start at 8:30 am, and the Brighton sales representative will have a "trunk show" near the dining room during lunch. The course will be open to members and their guests at 1:15 pm with a shotgun start.

Cleveland Golf Company will be here for a "Demo Day" on Thursday from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Come see and hit their new equipment including some great new wedges.

On Friday, Ping Company will be here from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for those of you that would like to try all of the new Ping golf clubs.

On Wednesday, September 1st at 5:30 pm, we will have our Labor Day Draw Party on the patio! The Men's Labor Day tournament is Friday, Saturday and Monday. The Ladies Labor Day tournament is on Monday, September 6th, beginning at 8:30 am.

Starting on Wednesday, September 1st, the driving range will close at 7:00 pm. The greens aerification will start on Tuesday, September 7th, and be completed on Wednesday, September 8th. This is a necessary evil needed to keep our greens in great shape! They will be ready for our closing event, the Red and Blue tournament, on October 2nd.

Please call the Pro Shop to enter the Labor Day tournament or the Red and Blue tournament.

Congratulations to Jon Wright for winning the Men's Club Championship! His 2, 2, 3 start on Friday set a blistering pace for the 54-hole event. Jim Tybur finished in second place and John Anderson finished third.
